Why the Local Church Is the Heart of God’s Design
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” (Hebrews 10:25)
A board-governed mission board committed to the propagation of God’s Word amongst the poor, the evangelization of the poor masses, and the nurturing of mission stations into fundamental, separated, independent local churches.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
We exist to propagate God’s Word among the poor, evangelize the needy, and strengthen mission stations toward faithful, separated, independent local churches — relying on the primacy of spiritual needs, while mercy ministries complement the Gospel.
Faithful preaching and teaching according to Scripture, patterned after the Lord’s ministry and the apostolic example.
Primary focus: spiritual needs.
Mercy ministry that supports, not replaces, the Gospel — addressing real needs with charity and accountability.
Complementary relief measures.
Nurturing mission stations into Bible-believing local churches through discipleship, training, and faithful oversight.
Long-term fruit, not quick metrics.
We affirm the plenary inspiration of Scripture, the Triune God, the Deity and sinless humanity of Christ, His substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and salvation by sovereign grace through faith.
Our public statements are designed to be read as institutional commitments — stable over time, and suitable for churches, missionaries, and ministry partners.
Document-first presentation (not “posts-first”).
From the founding era to the present Board reorganization — a continuous ministry marked by Gospel work and compassion.
Founded as a mission board with adamant adherence to Scripture and the distinctive burden to “remember the poor.”
Birmingham (AL), Baltimore (MD), Philadelphia (PA): children’s camps, public crusades, shut-in visitation, and street ministry.
Expanded mercy and Gospel ministry into a major underserved community.
A new board was organized to carry forward the ministry with renewed focus on the glorious Gospel and feeding Christ’s lambs.
Official statements issued by the Board and selected articles related to Gospel ministry.
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” (Hebrews 10:25)
While Christ is truly present wherever two or three believers gather in His name, Scripture teaches that such gatherings do not redefine the local church, which—except under persecution—God has ordained as an accountable, ordered body with recognized leadership for the full expression of His will.
We appreciate the prayer and support of like-minded brethren as we refocus on faithful Gospel proclamation and mercy to those in need.
Pray for wisdom, doctrinal fidelity, open doors for Gospel ministry, and genuine help for those in poverty and distress.
Prayer is not a formality; it is dependence upon God.
